{"id":22133,"date":"2024-03-07T23:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-03-07T17:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/zeroado.wpenginepowered.com\/?post_type=blog&#038;p=22133"},"modified":"2025-03-28T13:23:53","modified_gmt":"2025-03-28T07:53:53","slug":"how-you-can-make-google-index-your-crawled-but-not-indexed-pages","status":"publish","type":"blog","link":"https:\/\/zeroado.stagex.dev\/sg-en\/blog\/how-you-can-make-google-index-your-crawled-but-not-indexed-pages","title":{"rendered":"How you can make Google index your &#8216;Crawled &#8211; currently not indexed&#8217; pages?"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In my not-so-good-old academic days, I dreamt of pursuing CA as a career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cracked foundation exam with 175\/200.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then, I started for CA inter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A total of 7 exams to crack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, I prepared for all 7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then, exam time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">About 14 days of 21-22 working hours and 2-3 sleep hours, just like most CA aspirants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Exams done in 14 days!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Results out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">6 exams cleared, one failed \u274c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4 months later, Take 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2 months later, results time!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Still failed \u274c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4 months further, Take 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2 months later, results time again!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Passed \u2705<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All set.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And I felt just so relieved and so excited for what\u2019s next!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was all before my digital aspirations took over all other career aspirations I had.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fast forward to today and now all in digital marketing, I see every piece of content I am working on as an exam, a fun and never ending one!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just think about it for a moment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For each piece of blog and page<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 You prepare &#8211; You research, write, and create giving it your all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 You appear &#8211; You make it live on your website and put it out there for Google \u2018The Examiner\u2019 and all people to see and judge! Yup, public is the judge. Your audience is the judge.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 You submit &#8211; Once your content is live, you submit it to Google for indexing so that people can find it in search.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 You get results &#8211; You check its indexing status in Google Search Console, you check analysis in Google Analytics, you check how many leads, subscribers, and revenue you got in your dashboard!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now imagine, you worked 2 days to get an amazing blog done.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You hit publish.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You submit it to Google.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And next, you hear Google saying to you &#8211; \u201cHey, I have seen your content, but I am not gonna index it in my Search!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s exactly what Google means when it puts some of your pages in the \u201cCrawled &#8211; currently not indexed\u201d section of GSC. See<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/uploads-ssl.webflow.com\/638b623810a6ceb4294cd82b\/65eb4181487be9c976c2fda2_%27Crawled%20-%20currently%20not%20indexed%27%20report%20in%20Google%20Search%20Console.png\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>&#8216;Crawled &#8211; currently not indexed&#8217; report in Google Search Console of <a id=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/unrola.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Unrola<\/a>.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Being someone who juggles through tens of sites in Google Search Console every day, not a day goes by when I don\u2019t see this issue for at least some of the pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To confirm, you can go to your GSC right now and check for this report. Am sure, you will find some pages marked \u201cCrawled &#8211; currently not indexed.\u201d If not, organize a ceremony at the earliest in honor of your SEO Team<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Moving on.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why does Google do this to your pages?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let\u2019s ask Google.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is what Google could tell in its article on \u2018<a id=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/webmasters\/answer\/7440203\">Page Indexing report<\/a>\u2019 in Search Console Help center<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/uploads-ssl.webflow.com\/638b623810a6ceb4294cd82b\/65eb41aebf4b59d1ff51ed56_Explanation%20from%20Google%20on%20%27Crawled%20-%20currently%20not%20indexed%27%20report%20in%20Google%20Search%20Console..png\" alt=\"\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Explanation from Google on &#8216;Crawled &#8211; currently not indexed&#8217; report in Google Search Console.<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">See, how damn \u2018helpful\u2019 and \u2018clear\u2019 Google is, as always!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201dThat\u2019s not very helpful! Can you tell me more about this, I mean why Google chose not to index some pages after crawling?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Officially, I don\u2019t know! Few reasons I can think of<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 Maybe Google found the content on these pages low quality.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 Maybe these pages don\u2019t have any backlinks. That\u2019s why.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 Maybe it\u2019s Google\u2019s way of saying I don\u2019t give a fuck about your content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But if you ask me for EXACT reasons, I don\u2019t know EXACTLY. Am sorry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Though, I do know a couple of \u2018techniques\u2019 to hard punch this error and get your page indexed. Wanna know?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSounds interesting, tell me more.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cool.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200d<strong id=\"\">First, check the length of content on pages.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a id=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/zeroado.stagex.dev\/sg-en\/blog\/how-long-your-content-should-be-to-get-on-top-of-google-search\">How long your content should be to get on top of Google Search?<\/a> &#8211; Remember what I told you in this article?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let me give you a refresher<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201c<em id=\"\">The minimum word count required for an SEO-optimized page is 300 words.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200d<em id=\"\">Why?<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200d<em id=\"\">If the content is less than 300 words, Google classifies it as thin and throws it out of its index.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you are creating good content, I don\u2019t think you will have any blogs or pages which don\u2019t have even 300 words!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Still, just check once to be sure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u200d<strong id=\"\">Second, check the quality of content.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If the content quality of your blog and page is low, Google won\u2019t index it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhat is low quality content?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There is no hard and fast rule for \u2018low quality content\u2019 or \u2018high quality content\u2019 classification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s subjective and needs to be checked by you, using your SEO knowledge and experience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From SEO point of view, some of the most common instances of low-quality content<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 AI-generated content and paraphrased content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 Majority portion of content copied-pasted from other sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 Content without any credible references and outbound source links.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 Ghost content; content with no author mention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 Content with heavy text blocks with no graphics and media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 Incomplete content; content that doesn\u2019t cover the topic fully and in-depth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 Content filled with theoretical B.S. with no practical use.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 Content with lots of spam and broken links.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 Messed-up content with no clear outline and heading structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 Old and outdated content not updated in months or years!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I have 200+ other such factors in my latest Content Quality Guidelines. I will publish \u2018em on ZeroAdo in future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But for now, I think you got an idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Check your blogs and pages for all these factors. <a id=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/zeroado.stagex.dev\/sg-en\/blog\/boost-seo-traffic-and-leads-by-updating-old-content\">Update your content<\/a> for all missing things and make it high quality.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By the time you\u2019re done with updating your content, you must be convinced that your content is the world\u2019s best content on the topic you are covering. Otherwise, forget <a id=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/zeroado.stagex.dev\/sg-en\/blog\/why-being-on-googles-first-page-is-not-enough\">ranking number one on Google<\/a>. I am just being authentic with you, as always.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong id=\"\">Third, build backlinks to your content.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You know, in the SEO world, there is a term I hate the most and it\u2019s called \u201cOrphan Pages.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I don\u2019t know who the hell came up with this term in the first place.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But it\u2019s there and I have it in my mind that I will get this term changed at an industry level once ZeroAdo hits 1M monthly traffic and when I have a more influential&nbsp; voice.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That is a question of when and not if.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sorry, I got distracted.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coming to \u201cOrphan Pages\u201d &#8211; these are pages on your website which have no backlinks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While you don\u2019t always need backlinks to get a page indexed in Google, backlinks surely help you get your content indexed faster and boost rankings as well. You might also recall this point from my article &#8211; <a id=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/zeroado.stagex.dev\/sg-en\/blog\/how-backlinks-help-you-boost-your-seo-get-more-referral-traffic-and-generate-qualified-leads\">How backlinks help you boost your SEO, get more referral traffic, and generate qualified leads?<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pages which are getting crawled but not indexed, you put them into priority for backlinks and<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 build internal backlinks from pages which are already indexed and ranking in Google.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 build external backlinks as well to see faster results plus rankings boost, If you have some budget.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong id=\"\">Resubmit to Google for indexing.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once you are done with all three checks I mentioned , go to Google Search Console and resubmit your page for indexing. Submit one page at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Recheck the status of your page in GSC 2-3 days later. And am positive, you will see that your page has been indexed \u270c\ufe0f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So that\u2019s the way to ensure you get the maximum number of SEO pages and blogs indexed. 100% indexing of pages is NOT possible in my SEO experience. Still, using the techniques I shared, I keep the indexing momentum as high as I can.
